I was very pleased to discover Ray Blake's Personal Fold-out page for Personal Filofax on his Blog My Life in One Place . He used his template to produce a handy Atomic elements fold-out, see this article for more details.
This is the table printed, cut and punched. Very nice.
Which got me thinking, wouldn't it be handy to have a wine guide to keep in your Filofax when browsing booze at the local supermarket? I usually choose my wine by looking for unusual grape combinations, slightly better than shopping buy label design I suppose! Anyhow over at winefolly.com they have produced a great reference chart which shows the flavour characteristics of all wines, including sparkiling and rose as well as the usual red and white. So by inserting the graphic from winefolly into Ray's template I have a produced a handy Filofax Personal sized foldout guide to wine.
The Wine Guide is available
Word 2010 format docx
Word 97 format doc
PDF format pdf
I hope you find it useful. Thanks to winefolly.com and Ray Blake for both releasing their materials as Creative Comments and thus making this possible.
Great idea.. Especially for someone like me, a total wine ignoramus who chooses wine by the fact it is South African because I had two great holidays there!!! But as you say.. Better than picking my label design :)
ReplyDeleteThat really is terrific!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I had forgotten to make the (old word) version public accessible. Now fixed. If you try it please let me know if it works for you.
